Post Congress Tour to the Wachau

The Wachau is a stretch of the Danube Valley between Melk and Krems, a landscape of high visual quality. It preserves in an intact and visible form many traces - in terms of architecture, (monasteries, castles, ruins), urban design, (towns and villages), and agricultural use, principally for the cultivation of vines.most important well–known places and wineries.
Friday October 23rd
Early morning departure to Melk (coach)
Stop in Melk and guided tour in the monastery in Melk inclusive the abbey gardens (approx. 1 hour)
Lunch in a close–by restaurant (3-course meal)
Continuation of the journey to Langenlois (famous wine growing area of Austria)
