Tourism Education since 1980
Since 1980, professionals from all areas of tourism have been trained in the Tourism School Bischofshofen.
Originally founded as a branch of the school in Klesshein, Bischofshofen soon established itself as an independent third location of the Toruism Schools Salzburg.

Focus on Vocational Training
The distinctive focus on hands-on knowledge of this school is reflected in its participation in numerous competitions where students often excell in beer draughting and in cheese experts' seminars, won gold medals in cookery exhibitions, scored in bartenders' competitions and in 1992 achieved a world record in flambéing. This record enterd the Guinnes Book of World Records.

In addition, students are able to test their skills in the organisation and excecution of big weddings, ski competitiions, balls and in trainings with our partner companies.
A highlight for students was the participation of the Ski World Championship in St. Moritz where they prepared and served culinary delicacies in the Austria House.

Students are also encouraged to participate in foreign language contests. To foster language learning intensive language training weeks in England, Malta, France and Italy are organized by the school.
