This programme is unique in Austria and only offered in the Tourism School Bischofshofen.

This diploma programme is perfect for students who would like to upgrade their training in the tourism and hospitality industry or for those who would like to change their career. Students with tourism and hospitality background can apply for exemption of certain practical subjects.

Students are trained in the skills necessary to take a middle management position in the tourism and hospitality industry upon their graduation.

Students have to complete a 12-week industry placement between the first and second year in Austria or abroad.

Course Content

Besides practical training such as food production, F&B management, front-office and housekeeping, students get career-related language training in German, English and Italian (French can be chosen additionally), in business administration, accounting & cost controlling, IT, and marketing in tourism

• Compulsory attendance
  Students are in class Monday - Friday.

• Professional prospects
  Graduates work in middle management positions in all areas of the tourism and hospitality industry including hotels, restaurants, event agencies, airlines, cruise-ships and travel agencies.

Upon completion of this course students can apply for a trade license allowing them to open a business in the tourism or hospitality industry.
